Raymond Weil is a Swiss watchmaker, founded in 1976 in Geneva, Switzerland. It is one of the last independent brands in the Swiss luxury watch industry. The company was created by Raymond Weil, now Chairman. His son-in-law, Olivier Bernheim, became President & CEO in the 90s and now the third generation, Elie and Pierre Bernheim, has joined the company. In 1976, M.Raymond Weil creates the company which bears his name at a time when the Swiss watch industry is in turmoil. In 1986, the Othello collection is launched to celebrate RAYMOND WEIL's tenth anniversary. 1988, launch of the Traviata collection, where RAYMOND WEIL reviews its traditional aesthetic tastes. In 1995, launch RAYMOND WEIL's still actual collections, Tango (one of the most famous collections). In 2001, RAYMOND WEIL celebrates its quarter of century of existence and brings to life the new Othello collection. In 2003, the new Parsifal collection is launched around the world. In 2007, the launch of the Nabucco collection at Baselworld. RAYMOND WEIL's new Ladies' collection, Noemia, was unveiled at Baselworld 2009. 20 years after its official launch, the iconic Parsifal collection was recreated for BASELWORLD 2010!
